Any job you have on the ranch in the back country or in town sailor has done it. 15.1 hand 1150 pound well versed ranch horse meant for the one in your family that gets things done. Sailor has an impressive resume on the ranch from working on some of the biggest ranches in Montana to spending a year in Kentucky doctoring feeder cattle every day. He has a true one handed neck rein and knows all the basic ranch horse maneuvers, working gates, sorting, branding, and working a rope for doctoring. This is a horse with lots of natural cow, speed, and try. He is a blast to rope on outside. Sailor has been started in the arena on the head side. He has spent allot of time on the dummy and facing with the tire. He has a good understanding of how to run too, rate, and handle live steers. He likes to leave very flat and has plenty of speed. He has been out of a rope barrier and has been out of the box on around 100 live steers and is showing real potential. Sailor knows how to slow it down too. He has logged hundreds of miles in front of a pack string in the mountains, carrying packs himself, and wrangling loose horses in the mountains.
