15.1 hands, 1250 lbs Sired by Famous Black Ty, put together in dark buckskin and 100% sound! We have had Monty for two years. We have ridden him in the arena and around the ranch to gather cow calf pairs, run the saddlehorses off pasture, and trail ride. He is good through creeks, hills, rocks, is comfortable behind cattle and carries himself well. He has a lot of speed in his bloodlines but we have not ridden him fast and he has a quiet way of being. Monty has had a lot of arena time and is pleasant to ride with a soft mouth and sides, comfortable gaits and a desire to please. We laid him off for 6 months this winter and he came back honest and gentle with all the same handle he had when we turned him out. No maintenance.
