PENDLETON – 2020 GRADE GELDING
Pendleton is a nice big boy that likes to go to work. He has been bred and raised by us. He was a surprise baby by a young colt we had out of a really nice TB mare we owned for a long time. He technically should be registered but by the time he was born and we figured out his sire was the young horse, we actually lost his sire to a twisted gut. We were so sad and the outcome was us not being able to DNA him to get Pendleton registered. But he is fro m reg. Stock. (Pictures of sires papers shown) And good ones.! His dam won over $80k on the track amd then was made a saddle horse to go on and run barrels running 15’s easily. He is a stout 6 year old and has been used on the ranch. The youngest person that has rode him was 13. And she has used him on fun days of gymkhanas and trail riding. He has not been finished in any direction but deserves to go get his one person to go do what he likes to do and be rode all the time. He does not like time off. He would make good bulldogging horse or a ranch horse for some one that needs a strong horse to go all day under him. He has no vices other than being cold backed after having time off. That doesn’t get in his way of going straight to work after he warms up. He is honest about it. Other wise ride him everyday and he is good to go. We are transparent about everything. He gets along with other horses and has been around all kinds of animals. Pigs , alpacas, sheep, goats ect. They eat right at his feet and he doesn’t care. He is lightly started in the bridal but will ride in anything. Goes really good in a jr cow bit. But is coming along with a solid bridal. Go gather on him or work cows. Trail ride or have some fun at the local gymkhanas.he is sound and good legs and feet. Please call and ask any questions.
