SAY SO BAISLEY – 2023 REGISTERED PINTO BROWN/TOBIANO MARE X TEXAS MAGNUM SEVEN (CHEROKEE IMAGE TOO X TEXAS SEVEN) X SAY SO BABE (UNKNOWN X UNKNOWN)
Say So Baisley (Magpie) is a 3-year-old registered Pinto mare standing 15.1 hands high who is very teachable, gentle and sweet. She has spent the summer under saddle doing trail rides, trail obstacles and arena work. Magpie is thoughtful when she comes across something new, and carefully thinks through what you are asking her to do. She is easy to catch, groom, saddle and lead and she rides western, English and bareback. Magpie is great with trail obstacles, and she has crossed mud puddles, ponds and rivers. She rides well in the arena at a walk, trot and lope. She has a lot of forward motion and a great stop. She rides willingly in a herd and out on her own. Magpie loads well in a trailer and has been exposed to dogs, ducks, cats, tractors and ATVs. She has also been around young children and families. She is great with the farrier and has already had a full set of shoes; she is currently barefoot with a fresh trim. She responds willingly and softly to groundwork. Magpie lives in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and is at the bottom of the pecking order. Magpie’s sire – Texas Magnum Seven – is a 16-hand running-bred APHA stud. Because Magpie is still green and does have some speed, I would recommend an intermediate to advanced rider. She would excel as a trail horse because she is not reactive and spooky, or as a speed event prospect in the arena. Please contact Skylar Schaff at 307-277-9462 for more information.
