Chevy is a 13.3 hand bay Friesian pony cross gelding that is laid back and very fun to ride. He has a smooth walk, trot, and the most comfortable slow lope you could ask for. We have used Chevy to run errands, push cattle, and check fences here on the farm. We have taken him down the main highway into town and all the traffic does not bother him at all. We have also taken Chevy on day rides to the national parks and used him to trail ride up in the mountains. He goes over logs, through water, and wherever you point him. Chevy is laid back and does not easily get rattled, making him the perfect match for any level of rider. Chevy is quiet and easy to handle, my little boys can brush him, lead him around the barnyard, and they are also learning how to ride on him. I think he would work great in a lesson program because he is so chill and easy going. Did I mention he also drives? He is well broke to drive and easy to maneuver through town and wherever you choose to go. Chevy does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He stands to be bathed, shod, tacked, mounted, and he loads and unloads well. Chevy is safe and sound and ready to move into his forever home.
