NLD Boo Boo Blue, also known as “Yogi,” is the perfect package of good looks, gentle mind, and athletic ability. From the trails to the arena Yogi is solid and dependable every day of the week. No matter how often you ride, or how well you ride, Yogi is the same kind natured horse with the ability to turn things up for advanced riders or tone it down for a beginner. Yogi has a lot of experience outside the arena, is sure footed and easily rides anywhere you point him. He has spent many years on the ranch and can handle any aspect of ranch life from gathering, sorting, loading trucks, and branding. Inside the arena, he is fancy broke, one hand neck rein, spin, side pass, open/close gates, sorts cattle, lopes easy circles on a loose rein, and is always willing no matter what you ask. In the roping, he is solid in the box, has been ridden from the low numbers to the high and can really run when it’s needed without being strong or overrunning slower cattle. He is easy to handle cattle on, and is quick footed and smooth for his size. Yogi has been hauled and is a proven winner in many situations. He’s also a nice heel horse, has been tied onto solid and would fit the lower numbered heeler really well. Yogi has the training and ability to make you happy no matter what you need him for. Yogi does have a bump on the inside of his right hind ankle, it has never affected him and I have x-rays available if you’d like to see them. We will board him up to 10 days after the sale at no charge and will haul him up to 150 miles at no charge as well.
