Roscoe is a 4 year old 12 hand paint pony gelding that is extremely well trained and easy on the eyes. He neck reins, side passes, and lopes like a big horse. It doesn’t matter if your children are experienced or beginner riders. Roscoe has a way of making them look like professionals. He takes care of his rider no matter the situation. I think he would be well suited for all levels. We have used him for lessons and to just help build confidence. Roscoe is always willing to please and doesn’t raise a fuss. He rides out alone or in a group and is the same every time. Roscoe has been with the same family prior to coming to our farm and has only been up for consideration due to the young girl moving on to a quarter horse. Roscoe is well desensitized and takes well to tarps, bouncy balls, and all kinds of obstacles. he also does well carrying the flag. Roscoe lays down when you ask him to. Roscoe has been to town in the traffic and also been used to push cattle, he loads and unloads great. Roscoe stands to be tacked, mounted, and to be washed and shod.
