Johnny is absolutely a ranch favorite from babysitting the kids to doing the ranch chores or just a leisurely trail ride he does it all. We loaned Johnny out for horsemanship clinics and for trail rides. We’ve taken him in the mountains and to town. He’s always been solid and dependable all day, every day. He takes time off well, rides off quiet and gentle every time. Johnny has an excellent handle in the arena, lopes beautiful circles, good correct stop, nice turn around. He has a good one handed neck rein and naturally carries his head level. He goes through the obstacle course with ease. Johnny is sweet and kind with an in-your-pocket personality but is very polite. He’s easy to catch and loves attention. He is super smooth, good trot, easy rocking chair lope. He is a fun horse for the whole family. Our 4yr can go gather the cows by herself with Johnny, our 11yr old plays games and rides double with his sister and both of us love to ride for both trail riding and ranch work. 14.2 Hands 1200lbs We welcome you to come to the ranch and meet Johnny Cash.
