A flashy, well balanced, AQHA gelding that is your next saddle horse deluxe. This 12 year old sticks at 15.1 with shoes on and is approximately 1100lbs. Cherry, as he is commonly referred to, is currently featured in his “winter woolies” but don’t be fooled … He sheds out to be a very handsome, flashy red roan. Not only does he have a sharp and balanced look, he is also quick footed and incredibly athletic. He is broke & well trained; knows how to use his body and rides out like one should. He does all of the things that a well-broke horse should: backs, side passes, collects, spins, lead changes, moves his hip/shoulders and more. He is an elegant, smooth mover but has speed and power to really cover ground and is soft in the bridle. This gelding travels like an old, seasoned campaigner. He drinks and eats well, no matter if he’s in the cold winter climate in the north or in the Arizona desert. Cherry has been ridden in many different environments; from the snowy trees and scab rock in the northwest to the sandy deserts in Arizona and the plains of Oklahoma. He has been ranched on and used in a feedlot and he has plenty of arena and indoor riding experience as well. He has no buck, bite or rear and has a motor that will run all day long. He thrives on days full of work and long riding. He has solid feet with no history of lameness; wears a size 0 shoe and stands well for the fairer. He bathes and ties well.
