We have packed Hugo for the last 3 years in our outfitting business in the Shoshone and Bridger Teton wilderness. He is a dependable pack mule, good crossing rivers, logs, bogs. Fine with rattling hard box panniers. Stays good with the herd loose at camp. Sound. Good with his feet, good to shoe and clip, loads well. Catches with a treat.
