15hh. Strawberry has been one of my go to ranch horses since I started him as a 4 year old. He’ll do it all from roping bulls, cows, halter breaking colts, working calves in a feedlot, to dragging calves in the spring. He’s not fancy broke by any means but he is broke. Definitely not a kid or grandma horse but if you want to get a job done or trot for miles to the far end of your big pastures, Strawberry is your guy. I’ve lead a packstring in the mountains on him. Packed salt on him. Strawberries biggest down fall is he can be kinda watchy with new things on the ground that he’s never been around and can occasionally be cold backed after several months of time off. He’s absolutely not a bronc and he won’t buck you off but if he does show that sign of him it’ll be at the hitch rail when you saddle him not with you on him. He’s not your go to town horse or parade horse but he is as solid as can be. He’s great to shoe. Wears an 0 all the way around. Does not bite or kick. If you’re looking for a great ranch horse he’s your guy. I’m not leaving anything out on Strawberry because I know how good he is and he’s never let me down.
