Declan is a clean-made little gelding around 14.2 hands. He has been ridden on the ranch and in the arena. He is very comfortable in his gaits, takes both leads, will come soft off the bridle and has a nice useable feel. We’ve used him to pasture doctor a few heifers and catch calves where he holds his own and sets you up nicely for a shot. We think he’d make a fun heel horse! Declan is very honest with no hump or buck. He came back gentle after being laid off for part of the winter and has never offered to do anything stupid. He has a lot of heart and quick feet, but is gentle. Declan is good for the farrier, has good ground manners and has ground tied great. He has some “old and cold” scars on his legs from being a ranch horse but they are not a factor to his soundness. Sells as-is.
