URSULA – 2017 GRADE Black Draft Cross Mare.
Ursula is a super friendly mare who will meet you at the gate or anywhere in the pasture and stick her head right in the halter. She has saddled up nicely for me every time even when rained on for hours. She has been ridden on the ranch and all over the Shoshone National Forest on day trips and pack trips. She has led the string and been ridden by less experienced riders. She can pack a heavy load as well, and really handles nicely in the rough down timber and on the steeps. She hobbles, pickets, and the holds the mules tight overnight. She is good to shoe and jumps right in the trailer.
