Diamond Te Velvet (Bo) is a ranch horse we have owned since he came off the mare. He’s done everything that a ranch horse needs to be able to do. Bo stands just over 15 hands. Bo has branded calves, doctored cows and calves out in the pasture, as well as drug bulls into the trailer. During last years blizzards he pulled calves out of snow banks to be taken to the barn! Bo has been on long trots on the prairies of Eastern MT and moved cows through timber country a little further to the west. I’ve hauled him to a few ranch rodeos over the years. I won’t say he’s the most athletic horse out there but if you know how to do your job sitting on a horse you can get it done. For the most part he’s extremely gentle but he definitely can has a few quirks and a motor at times. Bo is the type of horse that if you are a good rider you can easily ride him, I definitely would not call or sell him as a beginners horses or any type of a kids horses because of the motor he can have! I have him in a bridle bit but can take about anything in the mouth.
