Hands down one of the most fun, all-around geldings we have ever had. He has so much eye appeal and style, with a black type pedigree ta-boot. Sired by the Legend himself NRHA HALL OF FAME stallion with the most STORIED life in reining history, Trashadeous. A GO-TO guy for sorting, showing in the working cow horse, leading a dude string down the trails, ranch cutting, ranch riding, heeling, or carrying flags at the rodeo. He’s great on the trails, crosses water, bridges and logs. Great in groups of horses, doesn’t get mad and rides off alone as well. Rio on top of all that, has an incredible disposition. Rio has a reined cowhorse/reining type foundation. He is soft in the bridle and moves off leg pressure. Is a very smooth traveler, good leaded with a lead change, can spin like a top and finishes with a pretty stop. He reads a cow well and rates off with a lot of style on a cow. He has been roped on in the arena as well as on the ranch. The ranch foreman would say Rio is a complete asset to the ranch. We love this big hearted gelding and appreciate all his talent.
