CACTUS – 2020 GRADE Bay Roan Draft Stallion
DREAM HORSE! Cactus is a super gentle STALLION with a loving personality. He stands right at 17hh. Cactus is easy to get along with and is a gentleman to his mares when pasture breeding. We purchased Cactus from his breeders, so we have had him a majority of his life. He was broke to ride and drive in the winter of 2023/2024 but has not been used since. He puts great bone and foot on all his foals and throws LOTS of color. The foals out of him have all been easy to halter break and have a naturally gentle disposition to them. We have kept quite a few replacement fillies out of him, so we feel that it is time to try and find him his next home. We do keep him in his own stallion pen but has accidently gotten out with the big group of horses and caused ZERO issues. Cactus is the type of stallion to meet you at the gate and will walk up to you in the pasture to say hi. He is PSSM1 NEGATIVE and ready to go to his next set of mares. Cactus is easy to catch and loads into a trailer with ease. Personal Note… everyone is asking me, if he is a favorite, why are you selling??? Answer is simple. We currently have 6 stallions, and he was the one I felt most confident in selling… No matter where he ends up, he will be easy to handle and does not have any of the “bad habits” stallions are known for. PPE’s are welcomed at buyers expense. UTD on Vaccines and Worming. We will hold for 7 days without charge and are willing to help organize hauling from the ranch. After the 7-day holding period, equine insurance will be required, and proof of coverage must be provided. Come to the Ranch and meet the sale horses Dec 13th 10am -4pm.
