CAPTAIN – 2019 GRADE Buttermilk Buckskin Gelding
This horse is the definition of a CADILLAC when it comes to geldings. Captain is the type of horse cowboys and cowgirls dream of owning. He is a home raised buttermilk buckskin that stands 14.2 hh. Not only is this horse attractive to the eye, but he checks every box too! He is out of an AQHA blue roan mare that we own and a buckskin stallion. Captain has been used to doctor cattle in the pasture, rope and drag calves in the branding pen, and gives rides to children of all ages. He is as broke as they come and is truly once in a lifetime horse. He has been ridden in some of the toughest country Montana, and Wyoming have to offer and has never missed a beat. Captain is easy to shoe, loads with ease, crosses water and logs, and hobble broke. SAFE FOR ALL AGES, we recommend Captain for ages 2 to 92… anyone and everyone can ride this gelding. He has great bone and foot to him and wears a size 1 shoe. Hard to find a gelding of his caliber in today’s market.
