If only I could keep them all. Jasper checks all of my boxes, he’s WILLING, QUIET and rides between your leg and rein at all times. A horse that never challenges what you ask for is a horse that can go in ANY discipline. So truly, you want a barrel horse prospect, rope prospect, ranch horse prospect, just a trail horse, he will check your boxes too. He has a correct turn around, good rollback, and can side pass more fluently than most horses walk. Jasper has a nice smooth trot, a rocking chair lope and a stop that will make you smile! Jasper stands quiet when he’s tied, loads and hauls well, and is good with his feet. This guy has some SOLID hard feet. We have some rough gravel all over our place and even our shod horses take an ouch step sometimes on it, he’s barefoot and hasn’t taken an off step once so if you like one that doesn’t need to be shod then you’ll sure like him. Jasper has been taken to town, rode next to traffic and dogs. He has spent about 90 days working at feedlots and sale barns and is no stranger to yarding back, sorting, and opening and shutting gates. He stands about 14.3 hh.
