AMARILLO – 2012 GRADE Blue Roan Mare. Amarillo is a pretty blue roan mare.

She is about 15.1h and stout. She is very sweet to be around, loves attention, and has good ground manners. She has no buck or rear, and is a forward, strong, moving horse – the type that can work all day. She’s good on the trail, and has done all sorts of terrain. Her previous owner sorted on her and used her to push cattle, she is cowy. She walk, trot, lopes, collects, side passes, neck reins, backs, and works gates. She is good to tie, saddle, bathe, load and haul. Due to her forward nature, she is not recommended for beginners, but could make somebody a very nice using horse. HIPPIE – 2013 Grade Quarter Pony Gelding. Hippie is a grade quarter pony, standing at 12.2 HH. He is as wide as most of the big horses weighing over 750 lbs. Hippie is a 12-year-old sorrel gelding with lots of chrome. He comes complete with 4 white socks, a blaze face, and lots of roan and white all over his body. His markings are second to none. Hippie’s mane and tail are as thick as they come! Hippie has been ridden all over the Rocky Mountains hunting black bears and mountain lions. He is sure footed through rocky and thick terrain, and a safe mount on the trails. He doesn’t mind any of the dogs at his feet! Hippie has been started in the following rodeo events: goats, breakaway, barrels, poles, and team roping on the heel side! He is also the best partner on the ranch dragging calves to the fire! Easton Zeldenthuis is 13 years old and has owned Hippie for 5 years. Easton has put many hours in the arena and in the mountains on Hippie. Easton has been his sole horse trainer for the duration he has owned him! Easton’s little sister has ridden Hippie since she was 7 years old without any trouble! He is safe for any level of rider but is best suited for a punchy kid that wants to go to work with his parents on the ranch, because he is just too dang handy to go to waste. This pony can go absolutely all day long and never quit. A 12 hour work day is no strange job for Hippie. He is confident out in the lead or following. Easton has led many pack strings out of the Colorado high country with Hippie. He shoes great, loads easy, crosses logs and water with ease and picks his way through the nasty stuff safely. He is truly a one in a million-type pony. He is not a typical lead line, toodle around the house type pony; he is made and put together to do a job. Your little buckaroo can drag 100 calves to the fire a day with him if you so wish. He is big and stout enough for a small adult to ride and is built to last a lifetime. This 12-year-old slightly over 16 hands stout gray gelding is a “Sparky” on the top side and hails back to Three Bars on the bottom side. He has been roped on at the head and has placed in the money. Graber as we call him is an 8-year-old 15.2 hand sorrel John mule that is well broke to ride. He neck reins, side passes, and stays soft in the bridle. Graber rides off quiet every time you ride him whether it’s once a month or everyday. He rides well in the arena and has a smooth walk, trot, and slow canter. He stands to be mounted and tacked as well as to be shod free handed. He does not mind having his ears messed with. Graber rides superb outside on the trails. SHORTY – 2010 Grade Buckskin Gelding.

Rio is an 11-yr old, 14.3 hand seasoned ranch horse.  He is gentle and easy to catch.  Rio has spent most of his life in southwest Colorado, working/catching cattle, dragging calves and checking fence.  Rio is accustomed to the high Rockies and all the way down to the deep canyon country.  He has been to town. BLAZER – 2013 GRADE Sorrel Gelding

15hh. Blazer is a sweet guy that is gentle for the family. He is a finished ranch and trail horse that is well broke and an honest good guy. We have used him as a lesson horse and has been ridden by teenage girls and older less experienced riders. Is very good to sort cattle on and will not let one get by him. You can ride him bareback in a halter or pull the bridle off and ride him with a rein under his neck. He goes down the trail like a champ and crosses water and obstacles with ease. He will turn around both directions fairly good and side pass to open and close gates. He is the kind you can lay off for two months and just go grab him when you need him and he will saddle up just fine. He is trained to be led up to any step, stump or fence and simply smooch to him and he will sidestep over and let you get on. He needs zero maintenance but I would call him 95% sound. He is one that you can take for a big hard day and he will easily get the job done. If you hustle him around in a tight circle, you might see him step short once in a while if he lands on a rock just wrong but it doesn’t amount to much. Because of that he is selling that way. This is a veteran horse that has a lot left to offer someone. He has raised several kids into being better horsemen. We are selling him just because of his age. Time to ride the younger ones.
