Talk about a Mack truck of a gelding! A gelding made for Montana. “Hipster” stands 15.2, weighs 1300 and wears a two shoe. “Hipster” has the My Leroy Brown speed, with the Poco Bueno build! He was raised by a ranch I use to work for, and I had the pleasure of starting his sire. This is a deep cinching, soggy made, go all day gelding. He has seen all aspects of ranch work, been used at both head and heel, and snag and drag brandings. In addition to ranch life, “Hipster” is no stranger in the arena. He will pick up his lead departures from a walk, lope a nice circle, maneuver through an obstacle course, and then track up the dummy. We have spent time making sure he was correct on the dummy before transitioning to live cattle. He is working really good out of the boxes and should be ready to haul by summer. This gelding has also been lightly started on the barrel pattern as well, and could just as easily go that direction.
