I have owned ‘Ray’ for four years. I bought him from the breeders here in MT. Ray has a big motor for roping cattle and covering big country, but remains calm and cool unless you ask for it. I have used him on the ranch and as my Ranch Rodeo horse. Ray runs hard to the hip and is strong from the horn. I have drug a lot of calves on Ray and pasture doctored calves and cows on him, step off and do your work and he will stand still until you get back on. I have recently started coming out of the heading box on him and believe that this is truly where he will excel! Ray can be cinchy when he is fresh but solid as a rock once he is warmed up. For this reason I am not selling him as a beginner or inexperienced rider horse. Ray is easy to catch, shoe, and stands tied, he is hobble broke and easy to haul. VIDEO: Contact Seller.
